NNZ awarded EcoVadis Platinum: top 1% globally

NNZ has been awarded an EcoVadis Platinum Medal. The result places NNZ in the top 1% of companies rated by EcoVadis globally, moving us from our previous Gold rating and the top 5% to Platinum and the top 1%.

From Gold to Platinum

In our previous EcoVadis assessment, NNZ received a Gold Medal and ranked among the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis. The latest assessment moves NNZ into the highest EcoVadis medal category. EcoVadis evaluates how companies manage sustainability across four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment considers policies, actions and reporting, as well as supporting evidence of how these are implemented within the organisation.

The result shows the progress made across NNZ in the way sustainability is managed and integrated into our organisation and our relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners.

A result built across NNZ

Achieving Platinum is the result of work across many different parts of our organisation. Policies and objectives are important, but the EcoVadis assessment also considers the measures companies have put in place, how progress is reported and the evidence supporting their approach.

Many colleagues across NNZ have contributed directly or indirectly to this result. We would like to thank everyone who has played a part in achieving our new EcoVadis Platinum rating. The Platinum Medal provides an independent external assessment of our sustainability management and performance. At the same time, the detailed scorecard helps us identify where we can continue to improve.
